Summer is the season to give thanks to our most valuable asset, our volunteers! This year, the Northern Districts, (West and East Valley/Santa Clarita) celebrated their exceptional volunteers and staff on a district level. The South Bay, South East, Central East, and West Los Angeles Districts, which compose the Southern Region, joined forces to collaborate for a single Southern Region Candlelight Awards Ceremony.

Attractions and celebrations occurred throughout the Los Angeles County. Ceremonies took place at decorated and dazzling District offices, VA grounds in the North Hills, the astonishing Cast Away Restaurant, and the Crowne Royale Hotel located in San Pedro. Districts Coordinators displayed their amount of passion and dedication for, not only the American Red Cross LA Region, but more importantly the volunteers.
