Red Cross Partners with First A.M.E. Church
On Sunday, September 19th, the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles staff, volunteers and AmeriCorps members attended three First African Methodist Episcopal Church (F.A.M.E.) services to educate the congregation on being prepared for an emergency. This new partnership supports the Red Crossā€™ efforts during National Preparedness Month to increase public awareness and knowledge about disaster preparedness.
