ABC7, the American Red Cross, Aetna, L.A. Care and the LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) are wrapping up the 13th annual ABCs of a Safe Summer campaign by providing a safety information and educational event on August 27th, for 300 children of South Los Angeles. The students will participate in hands-on, interactive CPR, first aid, heat safety and electrical safety demonstrations, and water safety work shops.

From May thru August, ABC7 has helped provide viewers with the tools to help them keep their families safe over the summer. Throughout the campaign, CPR, first-aid and water safety courses were offered.

In order to make life-saving information more accessible, ABCs of a Safe Summer partners have developed colorful, one-page “At a Glance” summaries of CPR, first aid, water, fire, electrical and heat safety. You will be able to download these flyers below.
