Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting the disaster-related needs of individuals and families as a result of single-family home fires to large-scale disasters like wildfires. The Red Cross provides food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support and health related services. Caseworkers meet individually with those affected with the goal of helping them get their lives back to as normal as possible under these conditions. The Red Cross also feeds emergency workers, handles inquiries from concerned immediate family members outside the disaster-affected area, and links disaster victims to other available resources.
