The Queen Mary is lending its support in raising money for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. During the NBC Universal sponsored fund raising drive from Nov. 21 through Nov. 23, 2008, the Queen Mary will send two general admission tickets to anyone who donates $100 or more to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
“The fires that ravaged the Southland last week were so devastating that the entire crew here at the Queen Mary wanted to assist in some way,” said General Manager, Jay Primavera. “Knowing that raising money in these hard economic times is not easy, we thought that by providing an incentive in the form of free passes to the Queen Mary, might help with those efforts.”
The Disaster Relief Fund enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster please do so at the time of your donation by either contacting 1-800-REDCROSS or www.redcross.org.
