Los Angeles Red Cross Headquarters Re-Dedicated
In a unique celebration honoring both the chapter past and future, more than 100 friends and supporters helped to re-dedicate the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles headquarters in West Los Angeles as the S. Mark Taper Headquarters on March 5.
Red Cross employees wearing vintage Red Cross uniforms served as tour guides during the open house portion of the event, where Red Cross books, pins and other memorabilia from throughout the Red Cross’
125-year history were on display. In addition, the chapter unveiled a new, permanent 25-foot timeline which visually tells the 90-year history of the Los Angeles chapter.
