Antelope Valley Woman Uses Red Cross CPR Skills to Save A Life

On Jan. 27, Ridgecrest resident Sharon Hicks received a Red Cross Lifesaving Award for administering CPR for 10 minutes to save the life of Anthony (Joe) Rice. Medical personnel credit Joe’s survival to Sharon’s immediate and persistent actions.
