Powerful Winds Cause Pasadena Apt. Evacuation, Red Cross Opens Disaster Shelter

Twenty-five elderly, displaced residents from a red-tagged building in Pasadena spent the night of Dec. 1 at a Red Cross shelter at Robinson Park Recreation Center. The Red Cross continues to provide meals and comfort. Bilingual Red Cross volunteers are assisting the Mandarin and Spanish speaking evacuees.
