Agreements Program
One way the Red Cross prepares for emergency situations and disasters is through written agreements with local governments, businesses, non-profits, and faith-based organizations. These agreements not only build our capacity to plan for and respond to emergencies, but most importantly they enable us to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
What is an Agreement? An Agreement is a formal understanding that clarifies a cooperative relationship between the Red Cross and a Partner.
Why do we need Agreements?
- Agreements assist with planning response to emergencies and disasters.
- Agreements clarify how the Partner and the Red Cross will work together.
- Agreements allow the Red Cross Los Angeles Region to fulfill our mission and to provide critical services needed in times of disaster.
