Local Disaster Relief

A mother and her child receive food in a Red Cross shelter.
When a disaster strikes, the Red Cross is the first on the scene and the last to leave. Whether these emergencies make headlines or not, the Red Cross is there to lend a helping hand and get families back on their feet.
From July 2006 thru June 2007, we responded to 345 emergencies affecting 354 families. All Red Cross disaster assistance is free, and without your support, this would not be possible.
