RADIOS NEEDED! Our radio system might have been workable in the 60’s….

• Base radio and antenna that could cover the Ham Radio bands can be modified to operate on the ARC frequencies
• Hand-held Ham Radios which can be modified to operate with Claremont’s fire and police analog radios
• Base radio and antenna dedicated to ARC frequencies and several portable radios with ARC frequencies only. Mobile radio to be installed in the jeep.

STORAGE AT A PREMIUM – we have no more room for supplies, Disaster or otherwise!!!

• Shipping Container – fitted out with fan/lights/weatherized
• Storage space from local self-storage company – monthly please
• POD- Portable On Demand Storage system – donation of old POD?

GENERATOR – Emergency power for 6 lights, refrig., coffee maker, 5 desktop computers & monitors, 2 laptops, 3 printers, and radio will approximately need 13,000 watts.

• 1,000 watts= 1kw Size of generator–> 15-20kw
• Electric Start, Low oil shutdown, full-power switch (from240 to 120)
• Idle control, portability, large fuel tank, propane or diesel

COMPUTERS – Chapter Desktops currently being used for Volunteer and Disaster-related work are at least 5 years old and are beginning to act like it.

• Any companies out there that are upgrading and don’t know what to do with your old computers???

ATTENTION ALL CONTRACTORS!!! The Claremont Chapter is in need of some sidewalk work…

TRUCK or SUV – In order to transport meals and supplies to a shelter site, or evacuation center — must be able to haul our Disaster Trailer…
